I love this - reminds me of the commonality of human experience. Like folks generally put on their trou one leg at a time, they also spoon up their soup and eat, just like everyone else.

Interesting how many writers prefer vegetable soup.

Seems to be a favorite with lots of folks in addition to writers -- though Dylan supposedly likes pea soup :).
For some reason, that poem makes me cheerful. :-)
It is quite affirming :).
