7 things on a wednesday meme

chipperJust got tagged for the 7 things meme by Sara and Barbara. (For this meme, I'm supposed to reveal seven things about myself, and then tag 7 other people to do the same.)
1. I didn't see snow fall from the sky until I was 21. I was teaching 9th grade English in Wimbledon, England.
2. When I was 14, I attended a luau for Sonny and Cher at their rented estate on Kahala Avenue, on the island of Oahu. Cher (19 at the time), had just gotten out of the shower, so her hair was wet. She was wearing a red and white long muumuu. Her sister, Georganne, was also there. Sonny was genuinely kind -- a beautiful, generous, warm person. Cher loved cake!
3. I love analyzing handwriting! With everybody emailing these days, it's much harder to find writing samples.
4. Our first Christmas in Virginia, Len and I drove down to Wiliamsburg. Our room at the bed and breakfast place we stayed at was haunted. We heard chains rattling and all kinds of bumping noises from the closet.
5. Every once in awhile, I get mail addressed to "Mr. Jama Rattigan." Think I'll grow a moustache.
6. My house isn't clean, but I obsess about cleaning. I worry about the dust that has collected on the top edges of the doors. I wonder whether I should wash all the walls in the house. I think about what has collected in the duct work, too. I see this as a manifestation of writing procrastination.
7. When I was in grade school, I wanted to be Amelia Earhart. Today I hate flying.
