Thank you, too, for hazzarding a guess in my 30th Anniversary Song Contest. You mentioned some great songs -- among them, "Evergreen," "Time in a Bottle," and "Close to You."
For awhile, I thought no one would actually name THE song, and I would have to toss all your names in a hat.

alison23 and liz_scanlon came along, and they decided to take 3 guesses. Well, they both cited "Maybe I'm Amazed," but it was released in the 60's. Liz also mentioned "First Time Ever I Saw Your Face," while Alison listed "You Make Loving Fun." But wouldn't you know it -- for their other choice, they both guessed our song!Now, with a face-off on our hands, we called upon William Shakesbear and Cornelius to help us draw the winner.
